| This
presentation outlines the benefits of using our Rogers high
performance microwave laminates and pre-pregs. The benefits of
improved electrical properties such as the high dielectric constant
control and low loss will be explored. Mechanical properties such as
thermal conductivity vs. maximum conductor power handling and minimum
trace width or laminate thickness will be calculated. The Rogers
Impedance Calculator (MWI) will facilitate this presentation while
providing a short tutorial on the use of this valuable shareware
program.
Cesar Santiago is an Applications Development Manager
at Rogers Corporation and is responsible for managing sales in Arizona
and New Mexico. In addition, he assists sales engineers on the West
Coast in the development of new applications for Rogers Advanced
Circuit Materials Division (ACMD), located in Chandler, AZ, which
provides circuit board materials for use in high-performance flex,
microwave and high-speed digital applications.
Mr. Santiago joined Rogers in 1986, and has held several positions
in sales and marketing and operations management. He attended Drexel
University in Philadelphia, PA. He resides in Phoenix with his wife

Council Members will be admitted free of charge, Non-Members will be
asked to contribute a $5.00 donation at the door. Contributors will
get a $5.00 discount applied to their membership should they decide to
join the IPC Designers Council at the event.
